WHITE CALCIUM BENTONITE
BENTONITE FOR THE CERAMIC INDUSTRY
It is used in ceramic slips and glazes. It increases slip plasticity and mechanical strength, and improves edge and flat surface finish.
Adding white bentonite to ceramic slips results in greater green strength, increased fluidity, and improved firing.
Ceramic and heat-resistant products in which white bentonite is used are easier to mold, less porous and more homogeneous, and less prone to cracking.
