GRANULATED BENTONITE

The main use of bentonite and allied clays as absorbents is in the absorbent industry, in pet bedding, and as desiccants.

This is the main application of bentonite and its allied clays en the USA, as a consequence of the boom of the pet bedding market in the 80's and early 90's. There has also been an importan development of this market in Western Europe.

Pet bedding clays must be capable of absorbing urine and of drying feces, reducing odors and inhibiting the growth of bateria.

APPLICATION RATE:Put a 5cm layer of white MERRY CAT in a tray; urine will be immediately absorbed, concentrating in a small surface and forming a clump. Remove the clump and add an equivalent amount of fresh MERRY CAT. Replace the whole content of the tray every three weeks.
