Technical data
HIGH YIELD TYPE BENTONITE
BENTONITE FOR MINING BOREHOLES
It is used to increase viscosity and to control filtering; it reinforces the bore walls and suspends cuttings.
It increases drilling mud claning ability.
It provides stability to minimize risk of collapse in unstable formations.
It approximately doubles the yield of common bentonites.
It is easy to mix in order to obtain a high viscosity mud.
HIGH YIELD TYPE BENTONITE
Description: Sodium montmorrillonite
Chemical composition: Hydrated silicate with general formula (Na, CA); (Mg, Al)2 (OH)2Si4O19.11H2O, containing quartz, feldspar, and gypsum impurities.
